Laws
If there is an unjust law I believe that you should transgress at once. I believe that you should go against the rule and not just accept it or be content with it. If there is a law that is unjust than you must rebel against it. The reason why you should do this is because you have nothing to lose. If you fight against it either the law remains or the law is taken away. Also it is a higher chance that it will be taken away because if it is unjust then it is probably unconstitutional which means it will be rejected. But if you just accept the law then you know that you are going to have to live with this unjust law the rest of your life. Don't accept less than excellence or else you are just giving up.

I really like your analysis of this problem. I didn't think about what you have to lose in this situation. If you don't do anything, then you have to live in an unjust society. But if you do rebel, than you either fix the problem, or you get prosecuted. If you don't do anything its an automatic negative But at least if you try, you can make society just again
ReplyDeleteBut if you transgress a law, won't that give the government more of a reason to enforce various other laws that may be unjust? Won't it put people in jail and fuel more frustration which might affect the future of the country later such as a civil war or mass riots which could contribute to the further instability of that area? In my opinion, the second option is best.
ReplyDeleteI also agree, you have nothing to lose so why not take the chance of SUCCEEDING than never knowing if you would have failed or not. In the world today we have so many bystanders by 85% and 10% of prosecutors and 5% rescuers. If the 85% did join the rescuers than it would have easily succeeded.
